The Central Asian Trade Forum will be held in Almaty on October 29-30, 2014. The organizer of the event is the USAID’s Regional Economic Cooperation Project.

The Trade Forum is an annual event and this year it will be held for the fourth time. This year the slogan of the Trade Forum is “From dialogue to deals”. More than 400 participants, representing lead experts, opinion shapers, top managers from state bodies, embassies, chambers of trade and industry, international organizations, private businesses, and business associations from Central Asian republics take part in the event each year. This year delegations from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Latvia are also expected to participate in the Trade Forum.

The agenda of the Trade Forum includes plenary sessions, technical sessions, master-classes, round tables, and business-to-business meetings.  The Trade Forum will also host a trade fair, where the participants of the event will showcase their products.   Traditionally in the course of the Trade Forum “The Best Exporters of the Central Asian Trade Forum” will be recognized and awarded.

The Central Asian Trade Forum has become the largest annual event for exporters, attained its traditions, gained the status of one of the key platforms for an open dialogue of businesses, state bodies and trade promotion agencies with the purpose to develop economic cooperation, building export potential, providing for establishing business networks which will result in trade deals and further facilitation of trade between Central Asia, South Asia and other countries
