Almaty hosts III Central Asian Trade Forum-


 III Central Asian Trade forum is held in Rixos Almaty Hotel, in Almaty, The goal of the Forum is to contribute to strengthening Central Asian countries export competitiveness, organizers of the Forum informed at the briefing.

 “Last year, Kazakhstan had exported goods to the amount of 92 billion tenge, including 3 billion to countries of Central Asia.  The low level of interaction between Central Asian countries is predicted by the strongest players’ protectionists’ policy. Such meetings  for  direct  interaction  building  are held to  make a difference, ” Managing director of  KAZNEX INVEST National Export and Investment  Agency Gaziza Shakhanova  said at the press conference. Besides, it was noted C Asian region in general has weak export development. Although a progress in export potential of the region has been made.
A good example is a launch of Transcaspian railway. Its branch carries on Afghanistan provides development of trade relations potential with the country. This situation is an example of that trade barriers gradually declining, "- the organizers of the forum.
In addition to the export of products and consumer goods, tourism services and pharmaceuticals are also good export potential - these directions are the priorities of KAZINVEX INVEST,” Mrs. Shakhanova noted.
The Forum agenda includes presentations by officials of the governmental sector of Central Asian countries, representatives of chambers of commerce and industry and other experts of foreign trade relations.  In addition, the Forum participants will have ample opportunities to share experience on best practices in regulations, trade facilitation and business development.
