Foreign trade of Kazakhstan- Kazakh TV26.08.2013
As of July 1, the bulk volume of foreign trade of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space member-states with third countries was estimated at almost 370 billion US dollars and dropped by 3.4% or by 13 billion US dollars compared with the same period a year before.
Specialists of the Eurasian Economic Commission noted that in the period from January to May, 2013 there was a decrease in the growth rate of exported products in all member-states of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space. In Kazakhstan, this index dropped by 11.4%, in Belarus by 37.2% and in Russia the amount of export decreased by 4.7%. On the contrary, the import of goods has increased in the three countries. According to a survey, Belarus with 17.5% takes the leading position in the amount of import, leaving behind Kazakhstan with 14.7% and Russia with 3%. As for June 1, 2013, the turnover of Almaty enterprises, which deal with the Customs Union participating countries has reached 3.3 billion US dollars, including 2.9 billion US dollars’ worth of import and the remaining 400 million fall on export. The turnover with the Customs Union participating countries has increased by 27.3% compared with the same period a year before.
